This trail is a gem. Good moderate workout. The alpine meadow section is gorgeous. Perfect fall hiking.
Nice challenging sections mixed with easier stretches. Some erosion on the steeper parts. would go again with friends. Might come back on a less busy day.
Wouldn't recommend right now. trail needs maintenance. Limited shade on the exposed sections.
